Talia Wright is entering her fifth year of being a part of the Y Camp staff this coming summer. Y Camp is so excited to have her back, and for her to continue the family legacy of Y Camp Leadership. Talia comes from a long line of Y Camp Leaders as she is a fourth generation camper and Leader. Starting as a family camper before she could walk, Talia has been joining us for over 20 summers. Currently she is a student at the University of Northern Iowa and studying to be an elementary school teacher. This summer Talia is returning as a member of the Leadership Team as a Cimber Leader. Her roles for the summer will include directly supervising 12-15 summer staff, program development, program facilitation, administrative duties and much more. Talia has been exactly what we hope for all of our campers. Moving from a summer camper, to VIP, to CIT, to Junior Leader, to Senior Leader, to Mini Camp Coordinator, to Cimber Leader. Talia is one of the most natural relationship builders that we have seen here at Y Camp and has excelled at every area we have put her in. In her free time Talia enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, and just having a good time . The things Talia loves most about camp and keeps her returning year after year are the way it feels like home and the people . Again, we are blessed and so excited to have Talia joining us for another summer.
