I am a third generation family camper whos life roots began at Family Camp in 1974. I still remember how much it rained and rained that week. But, the fun and friendships never ended even while wearing raincoats all week. My first summer as staff was in 1979 with a Wild West Theme keeping all the cowboys and cowgirls that attended roping in a great time.<br />The staff and campers during Famly Camp week truely become a close knit family in and of themselves during and leave with memories that will certainly last a lifetime.<br />I will never forget what is to me in my heart... &quot;The Closest Place to Heaven on Earth.&quot;Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
